Check Starter

Use the instructio n and service manua l supplied by the st arter manufacture r to verify that t he

starter has been installed correctly.

Whenever a starter safet y trip device activates, wa it at lea st 30 seconds before res et ting the

safety. The microproc e ssor maintains its out pu t to the 1CR relay for 10 seco nds after starter

safety shutdown to det er m in e the fault mode of fail ur e.

Open the disconnect

ahead

of the starter in addition to shutting off the machine

or pump.

The main disconnect on th e starter front panel may n ot deenergize all int ern al

circuits. Open all internal and remote disconnects before servicing the starter.
