Check Oil Pressure and Compressor Stop

1. When the motor is up to ful l s pee d, note the differenti al oi l pressure reading on th e LID

default screen. It sho uld be between 18 and 30 psid (12 4 to 206 kPad).

2. Press the Stop button and listen for any unusua l sounds from the compresso r as it coasts to

a stop.

Calibrate Motor Current Demand Setting

1. Make sure that the compressor motor rated load amps in the Service1 screen has been

configured. Place an ammeter on the line that pass e s through the motor load cu r r ent

transfer on t he motor side of the power fa ctor correction ca pacitors (if pr ovided).

2. Start the compresso r and es t ablish a steady motor c ur r en t value between 70% and 100 %

Do not check motor rotatio n during coastdown. Rotat io n may have reversed dur-

ing equalization of vessel pressures.
