Automatic Restart Af te r a Power Failure is not activ a ted when a power failur e oc c ur s , and the

remote contact is clos ed, the machine will indica te an alarm because of the los s of voltage.

The contacts for Remote S t art are wired into the star te r at terminal strip TB5, term i nals 8A

and 8B. See the certified dr a wings for further det ail s on contact ratings. T he c on tacts must be

dry (no power).

Spare Safety Inputs

Normally closed (NC) di git al inputs for addition al field-supplied saf eties may be wired to the

spare protective lim it s input channel in place of th e factory installed ju m per . (Wire multiple

inputs in series.) The op ening of any contact will r es u lt in a safety shutdow n and LID display.

Refer to the certified dr awi ngs for safety contac t ratings.

Analog temperature s en sors may also be added to th e opt ions modules, if inst alle d. These

may be programmed to cause an alert on the CCN netwo rk, but will not shut the machine down.

Spare Alarm Contacts

Two spare sets of alarm con ta cts are provided within t he starter. The contact ratings are

provided in the certif ied drawings. The contact s ar e lo cated on terminal str ip TB6, terminals 5A

and 5B, and te rminals 5C and 5D.
