Control Modules

The Processor module (PSI O), 8-input (Option s ) mo dul es, Starter Managem ent Module

(SMM), and the Local Interface Device (LID) module perform continuous diagnostic evaluations

of the hardware to d etermine its condi tion. Proper operat ion of all modules is indicated by LED s

(light-emitting diod es) located on the side of the LID, and on the top horizon tal surface of the

PSIO, SMM, and 8-input modules.
