The PIC consist s of 3 modul es housed inside the 3 major components. Th e component
names and the control volt age contained in each component are listed bel ow (also see
Table 1):
• control center
– all extra low-voltage wirin g (24 v or les s)
• power panel
– 115 v control voltage
– up to 600 v for oil pump power
• starter cabinet
– machine power wiring (per job requirement)
Processor M odule (PSIO)
This module contains all of the operating softwa r e nee ded to control the machi ne. The open-
drive machines use a diff er e nt software package wi thin the PSIO than the her m et ic machines.
There are also control hardwar e differences between the two types of ma chines. The 1 9EX
uses 3 pressure transd uc er s an d 8 thermistors to sense pressures and tempe r at ures. The
17EX uses 4 pressure transducers and 7 thermistors to sense pressures and temperatures.
