Control Test

The Control Test feature can check all of the thermi stor temperature se nsors, including thos e

on the Options modules, pressure transducer s , pu m ps and their associated flow switches, the

guide vane actuator, and other control outputs, such as hot gas bypass. The test s can help to

determine whether a swi tch is defective, or a pump relay is not operating, am ong other useful

troubleshooting test s. During pumpdown ope rations, the pumps are en er gi zed to prevent

freeze-up and the vess el pr e ssures and temperatu r es ar e di splayed. The lockout fea ture will

prevent start-up of the compr essor when no re frigerant is pr esent in the ma chine, or if the

vessels are is olated. The locko ut is then te rminated by the operator by usin g the Terminate

Lockout function aft er th e pumpdown procedure is rev er s ed and refrigerant is added .
