RELEASE softkey.
Note: Manual control will incre ase the guide vanes an d ov er r i de the pulldown rate dur in g start-
up. Motor current above t he electrical deman d s et ting, capacity overr id es, and chilled
water below control po int will override the man ual target and close the gui de vanes. For

Refrigeration Log
A refrigeration log, such as the one shown in Figure 31, provides a convenient checklist fo r
routine inspectio n and maintenance and provides a continuous record of machine perf ormance.
It is an aid in scheduling routine mainten ance and in d iagnosing mach ine problems.
Keep a record of the mach ine pressures, temp eratures, and liqui d levels on a sheet simi lar to
that shown. Automatic recording of PIC data is possible through the use of CCN devices such
as the Data Collection mod ule and a Building Sup er v is o r. Contact your Carri er representative
