Check Pressure Transducers

Once a year, the pressure tran sducers should be checke d against a pressure gag e re adi ng.

Check all three transduc e rs: oil pressure, conde nser pressure, cooler pr es s u re.

Note the evaporator and condenser pressure readings on the Status01 screen on the LID.

Attach an accurate set of r ef rigeration gages to the coo ler and condenser Sch r ade r fittings.

Compare the two rea dings. If there is a d ifference in readings, the transducer can b e calibrated,

as described in the Troubleshooting Gui de section.

Pumpout System Mainte nance

For compressor maintena nce details, refer to the 06D, 07D Installation, Star t -Up, and

Service Instructions.

Optional Pumpout Compressor Oi l Charge

Use oil conforming to Carr ie r specifications for r ec ip rocating compressor us ag e. Oil

requirements are as fo llo ws:

• HFC-134a

ISO Viscosity ................................68

Carrier Part Number ..................PP23BZ103

The total oil charge , 4.5 pints (2.6 L), consists of 3.5 pint s (2.0 L) for the com pressor and one

additional pint (0.6 L) for t he oil separator.
