Transferring Refrigerant from N ormal Operation into the C ooler/Condenser/Compressor Section
These steps describe the method of moving refriger a nt from the utility ve s s el in to the cooler/
condenser/compress or section. This is no rmally performed fo r service work on the util ity vessel.
1. Isolate and push refr ige rant into the cooler/ c on denser/compres s or s ec t ion:
a. Valve positions:
b. Turn off machine water pumps and pumpout c ondenser water.
c. Turn on pumpout compres s or t o push refrigerant out of the utility vessel.
d. When all liquid is out of the ut ility vessel, close cooler isolation val v e 7.
e. Turn off pumpout compressor.
2. Evacuate refrigerant from the utility vessel.
a. Access the Control Test, pumpout function on the LID display to turn on the machine
water pumps and monitor v es s e l pressures.
