automatic reset to the set point based on a temper at ure sensor wired to the num be r one 8-
input module (see wirin g diagrams or certified drawings).
The temperature sen s or m us t be wired to terminal J1-19 an d J1-20.
To configure Reset Type 2, enter the temperature of the remote sensor at th e poi nt where
no temperature reset will o ccur. Next, ente r the temperatur e at which t he full amount of
reset will occur. Then, enter the maximum amount of reset required to operate the machine.
Reset Type 2 can now be act iv at ed.
3. Reset Type 3 — Automatic chill ed water temperat ure reset based on cooler temperature
difference. This typ e of reset will add ±30° F (±16° C) based on the temperature diff erence
between entering and leaving chilled water t em pe rature. This is the onl y type of reset
available without t he ne ed of the number one 8-inp ut module. No wiring is req uired for this
type as it already uses the cooler water sensors.
To configure Reset Type 3, enter the chilled wate r temperature differ enc e (the difference
between entering and leaving chilled water) at which no temperature r es e t occurs. This
chilled water tempe r at ure difference is usu all y the full design load tem pe rature difference.
The difference in chill ed water temperature at which the full amount of r es et will occur is
now entered on the next in put line. Next, the amount of reset is entered. Res et Type 3 can
now be activated.
