snmp-server trap

This command enables the access point to send specific SNMP traps (i.e., notifications). Use the no form to disable specific trap messages.

Syntax

snmp-server trap <trap> no snmp-server trap <trap>

trap is one of the SNMP trap messages listed in Table A‐10:

A 802.1x client station was successfully authenticated by the

A client station failed MAC address authentication with the

RADIUS server

A client station successfully authenticated its MAC address

with the RADIUS server

A client station’s Context Data was sent to another access

A client station failed authentication with the local MAC

A client station was successfully authenticated its MAC

The access point failed to log onto the PPPoE server using

the configured user name and password

 

 

 

sntpServerFail

The access point failed to set the time from the configured
