27 • DHCP configuration

 

 

Define the bootfile (Option 67) for the DHCP-server

The DHCP server can define bootfile (DHCP option 67). In contrast to the existing options bootfile and next-server, these options do not use BOOTP fields but DHCP options.

Define the TFTP server (Option 66) for the DHCP-server

The DHCP server can define tftp-server (DHCP option 66). In contrast to the existing options bootfile and next-server, these options do not use BOOTP fields but DHCP options.

This procedure describes how to check the configuration and current status of the DHCP-server
