6. System Setup

Genlock Setup

	Encore system setup: Step 14
14	S Prerequisites — Ensure that you are familiar with the Genlock Menu. In
	Chapter 5, refer to the “Genlock Menu” section on page 164.

In this procedure, you will set up Genlock for each destination.

„Use the following steps to set up Genlock:

1.In the System Keypad, press OUTPUT to display the Output Menu.

2.On the Destination Bus, select the destination that you want to configure.

3.Press {GLCK} to display the Genlock Menu.

4.For all types of destinations, set the genlock source on the Source line. Choose between Black Burst, CSync or None.

Note

When you select the Source, the Type line automatically displays the type of genlock provided.

5.For ScreenPRO-II destinations only, verify the setting of the ScreenPRO-II’s Termination Switch on the Termination line. The menu prompts you how to change this physical switch on the ScreenPRO-II itself, if required.

6.Press {BACK} to return to the Output Menu.

7.Repeat from step 2 to set additional destination genlock types.

8.In the System Keypad, press {SAVE} to save the new configuration in memory.
