7.3SELECT THE TRANSDUCER MOUNTING LOCATION

Select a mounting location that has a fully developed flow profile. Do not locate the transducer so that sonic energy enters a region that is not representative of the flow velocities at the measuring location. Use the figure below as a guide to select the proper mounting location.
