cfm mep domain domain-name mpid identifier

Configure maintenance end points for the domain, and

 

 

enter Ethernet cfm mep mode.

 

 

domain domain-name—Specify the name of the

 

 

created domain.

 

 

mpid identifier—Enter a maintenance end point

 

 

identifier. The identifier must be unique for each

 

 

VLAN (service instance). The range is 1 to 8191.

cos value

(Optional) Specify the class of service (CoS) value to be

 

 

sent with the messages. The range is 0 to 7.

Step 25 show ethernet cfm maintenance-points {local

Verify the configuration.

(Optional) Display the configuration error list.

(Optional) Save your entries in the configuration file.

 

 

 

Note Use the no form of each command to remove the configuration or return to the default configurations.

Router(config-if)#service instance 1 ethernet EVC1

Router(config-if-srv)#rewrite ingress tag pop 1 symmetric

Router(config-if-srv)# bridge domain 5

Router(config-if-srv)#cfm mep domain abc mpid 100

Router(config-if-ecfm-mep)# exit
