Configuring Hot Standby Pseudowire Support for ATM/IMA

	Command	Purpose
Step 5
	xconnect peer-ip-address vc-id	Binds an attachment circuit to a pseudowire, and to configure an Any
	encapsulation mpls	Transport over MPLS (AToM) static pseudowire.
	Example:	• peer-ip-address—IP address of the remote provider edge (PE) peer.
		The remote router ID can be any IP address, as long as it is reachable.
	Router(config-if)# xconnect	• vcid—32-bit identifier of the VC between the routers at each end of
	192.168.1.12 100 encapsulation mpls
		the layer control channel.
		• encapsulation—Specifies the tunneling method to encapsulate the
		data in the pseudowire.
Step 6
	backup peer peer-router-ip-addr	Specifies a redundant peer for a pseudowire virtual circuit (VC).
	vcid	• peer-router-id—IP address of the remote peer router.
	Example:	• vcid—32-bit identifier of the VC between the routers at each end of
		the layer control channel.
	Router(config-if-xconn)# backup
	peer 170.0.0.201 200
