How to Configure Microwave ACM Signaling and EEM Integration

DETAILED STEPS

	Command	Purpose
Step 1	enable	Enables privileged EXEC mode.
		• Enter your password if prompted.
	Example:
	Router> enable
Step 2	configure terminal	Enters global configuration mode.
	Example:
	Router# configure terminal
Step 3	ethernet cfm domain domain-namelevel	Defines a CFM maintenance domain at a particular maintenance
	level-id	level and enter Ethernet CFM configuration mode.
	Example:	• domain-name—String of a maximum of 154 characters that
		identifies the domain.
	Router(config)# ethernet cfm domain	• level-id—Integer from 0 to 7 that identifies the maintenance
	outer level 3
		level.
Step 4	service csi-idevc evc-namevlan	Sets a universally unique ID for a customer service instance (CSI)
	vlan-iddirection down	within a maintenance domain.
	Example:	• csi-id—String of a maximum of 100 characters that identifies
		the CSI.
	Router(config-ether-cfm)# service	• evc—Specifies the EVC.
	microwave1 evc V60 vlan 60 direction
	down	• evc-name—String that identifies the EVC.
		• vlan—Specifies the VLAN.
		• vlan-id—String that identifies the VLAN ID. Range is from 1
		to 4094.
		• direction—Specifies the service direction.
		• down—Specifies the direction towards the LAN.
Step 5	continuity-check	Enables the transmission of continuity check messages (CCMs).
	Example:
	Router(config-ecfm-srv)#
	continuity-check
Step 6	exit	Exits Ethernet CFM service configuration mode and enters global
		configuration mode.
	Example:
	Router(config-ecfm-srv)# exit
Step 7	ethernet evc evc-id	Defines an EVC and enters EVC configuration mode.
		• evc-id—String from 1 to 100 characters that identifies the EVC.
	Example:
	Router(config)# ethernet evc V60
