How to Configure Remote Loop-Free Alternate - Fast Reroute

Step 10	xconnect ip-addressencapsulation mpls		Binds an attachment circuit to a pseudowire, to configure an Any
			Transport over MPLS (AToM) static pseudowire.
	Example:		• ip-address—IP address of the remote provider edge (PE) peer.
	Router(config-if-cem)# xconnect		The remote router ID can be any IP address, as long as it is

			• encapsulation—Specifies the tunneling method to encapsulate
			the data in the pseudowire.
			• mpls—Specifies Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) as the
			tunneling method.
Step 11	backup peer peer-ip-address		Specifies a redundant peer for a pseudowire VC.
			• peer-ip-address—IP address of the remote peer.
	Example:
	Router(config-if-xconn)# backup peer
