Extending QoS for MLPPP

 

Command

Purpose

Step 3

class-map match-any class-map-name

Creates a class map to be used for matching packets to a specified class

 

 

and to enter QoS class-map configuration mode:

 

Example:

class-map-name—Name of the class for the class map. The class

 

Router(config)# class-map match-any

name is used for both the class map and to configure a policy for the

 

matchdscp

class in the policy map.

Step 4

 

 

match mpls experimental topmost

Matches the experimental (EXP) value in the topmost label header.

number

number—Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) EXP field in the topmost label header. Valid values are 0 to 7.

Example:

Router(config-cmap)# match mpls experimental topmost 5

Step 5

match ip dscp dscp-value

Identifies the DSCP values as a match criterion.

dscp-value—The DSCP value used to identify a DSCP.

Example:

Router(config-cmap)# match ip dscp af11

Step 6

exit

Exits class-map configuration mode.

Example:

Router(config-cmap)# exit

Configuring a Policy-map

Complete the following steps to configure a policy-map.
