Chapter 10 Configuring Ethernet OAM

Understanding Ethernet Loopback

Purpose

Specifies the packet type. The following are the options:

 

outer-cos outer-vlan packet-size

default—Set a command to its defaults

 

src-mac-addr

 

 

inner-cos—Specify the class of service (CoS) value for

bytes, 256 bytes, 512 bytes, 1280 bytes, and 1518 bytes.

 

 

src-mac-addr—Specifies the source MAC address in

 

 

H.H.H format.

Specifies the direction of the profile traffic. The options are

 

 

external and internal.
