Purpose

Used to remove an SNMP user from an SNMP group and also to

 

 

delete the associated SNMP group.

 

Syntax

delete snmp user <SNMP_name 32>

 

Description

The delete snmp user command removes an SNMP user from

 

 

its SNMP group and then deletes the associated SNMP group.

 

Parameters

<SNMP_name 32> An alphanumeric string of up to 32

 

 

characters that identifies the SNMP user that will be deleted.

 

Restrictions

Only administrator-level users can issue this command.

 

 

 

 

Example usage:

 

 

To delete a previously entered SNMP user on the Switch:

DES-6500:4#delete snmp user dlink

Command: delete snmp user dlink

Success.
