It is possible to change the threshold at which discard begins in NE1G-2D in two stages. The discard threshold is set by the queue length of shaper send information. Correspondence between packet priority and discard threshold is indicated below.

*High priority packets (*1): Discard if queued packets exceed queue length

*Low priority packets (*2): Discard if queued packets exceed one-half the queue length (*1): Packets in which 1 is the lowest bit of user priority

(*2): Packets in which 0 is the lowest bit of user priority
