1.In 4221-01: Routing Mailbox Type (page 890), to make the selected mailbox an Announcement Mailbox, enter 2.

-By default, Routing Mailboxes 9-16 are Announcement Mailboxes.

2.To record the Announcement Message:

1.See Operation below.

-By default, a message is not recorded.

3.After playing the Announcement Mailbox message, should IntraMail hang up or provide additional dialing options?

1.To hang up:

-In 4223-02: Hang Up After (page 893), enter Yes.

2.To provide dialing options:

-In 4223-02: Hang Up After (page 893), enter No.

-Review Next Call Routing Mailbox (page 552) to set up additional dialing options for Announce- ment Mailbox callers.

4.Should the Announcement Mailbox message repeat while the caller listens?

1.If yes, in 4223-01: Repeat Count (page 893) enter the repeat count (1-10).

2.If no, in 4223-01: Repeat Count (page 893) enter 0.

5.Is the maximum allowed length of the Announcement Mailbox message correctly set?

1.If yes, leave 4201-01: Outgoing Message Length (page 871) at its current setting.

2.If no, adjust 4201-01: Outgoing Message Length (page 871) as required.

-This affects other options as well, such as the maximum length of Instruction Menu Messages.
