Examples — To delete the trace log, type the following command:

clear trace Deletes running trace commands and ends trace processes.

clear trace {trace-areaall}

„trace-area— Ends a particular trace process. Specify one of the following keywords to end the traces documented in this chapter:

„authorization — Ends an authorization trace

„dot1x — Ends an 802.1X trace

„authentication — Ends an authentication trace

„sm — Ends a session manager trace

„all — Ends all trace processes.

Defaults — None.
