Multicarrier G2 Universal Module
to R8r EPN
This chapter provides the information necessary to upgrade a DEFINITY G2
universal module to a multicarrier EPN of a R8r system.
DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server Release 8 Administrator’s Guide
lists Release 8 features and functions, and provides the command s, procedures,
and forms to initialize and ad minister the system.
Single-Mode Fiber Attenuators
Attenuators may be required when us ing single-mode fib er. See the table below.
A different value attenuator may be required even though the fiber sp an is
between the same 2 cabinets (lo cal and remote cab inet). Refer to
