Connect the Cables
1. Determine into which port slots yo u are putting the TN799B C-LAN and
TN802B IP Interface circuit pack s.
NOTE:
Make sure that at least 3 adjacent slots are free for the TN802B.
From the rear of the cabinet:
2. If adding a new TN799B, con nect the 259A connector to t he backplane
connector corresp onding to the TN799B slot.
3. If adding a new TN799B, connec t one end of the DW8 cable to the 259A
connector. Connect the other en d to the customer’s network.
4. Connect the amphenol conne ctor on the external cab le assembly to the
backplane c onnector correspond ing to the TN802B slot (the highest
numbered connec tor of the 3 slots required)
