1. For an AC- or DC-powered system, connect p ower and ground to the

cabinet as instructed in

DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server

Release 8 Installation and Test for Multicarrier Cabinets

2. Connect the approved ground to the new cabinet as in structed in

DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server Release 8 Installation and

Test for Multicarrier Cabinets.

NOTE:

Do not power up the system until all p ower and ground connec tions

are completed.
