2. Behind control carrier A of EPN cabinet 3:
Install a lightwave transceiver on the c able connector at slot 3A 01.
NOTE:
Attenuators may be required for single mode fiber using a
300A Lightwave Transceiver
Connect the remaining end of the fib er cable to the transceiver just
installed.
Route the cable to the cable tr ay and down, out of the cab inet,
through the cable manag er to the PDS cross-connect facility.
Connect the fiber cab le to the lightguide interco nnect unit provided.
Carefully attach the fiber optic cable (with cab le ties) to the wall of
the cable tray at the built- in cable tie positions.
Coil up the surplus fiber cable and plac e it in the cable manager.
3. Behind control carrier A of EPN cabinet 2:
Install a lightwave transceiver on the c able connector at slot 2A 02.
Connect a fiber optic cable to the transceiver jus t installed.
Route the cable to the cable tr ay and down, out of the cab inet,
through the cable manag er to the PDS cross-connect facility.
Connect the fiber cab le to the lightguide interco nnect unit provided.
Carefully attach the fiber optic cable (with cab le ties) to the wall of
the cable tray at the built- in cable tie positions.
4. Behind control carrier A of EPN cabinet 3:
Install a lightwave transceiver on the c able connector at slot 3A 02.
