Resolving Scheduling Conflicts

Upon completion of scheduling a Reservation or an On Going Conference, the system checks for scheduling conflicts for individual participants.

A scheduling conflict for a participant results when two or more conferences are set up to occur at the same time or at overlapping times and contain one of the following parameters:

Participants with the same name

Participants with the same ISDN or T1-CAS phone numbers

Participants with the same IP address or Alias

Depending on the connection type that was defined for the participant, MGC Manager looks for specific conflict criteria to determine if the participant is double-booked. Table 2-5 lists these criteria:
