Scheduling a New Reservation

A Reservation is a conference that is scheduled to start sometime in the future. It is saved on the MCU and is automatically started when the scheduled date and time arrives. At the end of the conference it is deleted from the MCU.

To schedule a new Reservation:

1.Expand the MCU tree.

2.Right-click the Reservations icon, and then click New Reservation.

The Conference Properties - General dialog box opens, allowing you to define the general parameters of the conference. These parameters are identical to the standard conference General parameters.

3.Define the conference general parameters, such as name, Numeric ID, passwords and duration. For detailed description of these parameters, refer to Table 2-1, "Conference Properties - General." on page 2-16.

4.Click the Scheduler tab to schedule the conference start date and time. The conference will automatically start at the defined date and time.
