Example
The following example enters the Interface Loopback 1 configuration mode.
console(config)#interface loopback 1
console(config-if-loopback0)#ip address 192.168.22.1
255.255.255.255
console(config-if-loopback0)#exit
console(config)#ex
console#ping 192.168.22.1
Pinging 192.168.22.1 with 0 bytes of data:
Reply From 192.168.22.1: icmp_seq = 0. time <10 msec.
Reply From 192.168.22.1: icmp_seq = 1. time <10 msec.
Reply From 192.168.22.1: icmp_seq = 2. time <10 msec.
Reply From 192.168.22.1: icmp_seq = 3. time <10 msec.
show interfaces loopback
Use the show interfaces loopback command in Privileged EXEC mode to
display information about one or all configured loopback interfaces.
Syntax
show interfaces loopback [
loopback-id
]
loopback-id
— Loopback identifier. (Range: 0-7)
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
