Item

Description

Protocol

Select the target protocol for IP filtering from the pulldown list:

 

• HTTP

 

• HTTPS

 

• Telnet

 

• SSH

 

• SNMP

 

 

Access Control

Select the [Enable] or [Disable] radio button to specify whether to

 

use access control.

 

Selecting [Disable] permits access from any IP address using the

 

protocol selected above. Furthermore, the [IP Address] and

 

[Subnet Mask] fields described below are grayed out, and input to

 

them is not possible.

 

Selecting [Enable] enables input in the [IP Address] and [Subnet

 

Mask] fields and permits access from the specified IP address

 

using the protocol selected in [Protocol].

 

 

IP Address

Enter an IP address that has access permission.

Subnet Mask

Enter the subnet mask of IP addresses that have access permission.

settings, click the [Apply] button. The specified information takes

1Make [Protocol], [Access Control], and/or other settings, enter an IP address and a subnet mask, and then click the [Apply] button.

Additions or changes are then made to management information accordingly.
