MMB

CHAPTER 4 CLI Operations

4.1.2Access via the management LAN interface

1Connect the MMB to a remote PC with a straight LAN cable.

2Launch a Telnet or SSH client on the remote PC, and specify the IP address of the MMB and the Telnet port number or the SSH port number to establish a connection.

3Enter an account name and password to log in.

Note: The connection function provided by the MMB uses the SSH V2 protocol. Therefore, terminal software that supports SSH V2 must be prepared in order to establish an MMB connection using the SSH protocol.
