• | Receive | Specify whether to allow the interface to receive flow control |

| • On: The interface can receive flow control packets from |

| connected units that must send them and from those that need |

| not send them but can still send them. |

| • Off (default): The function for sending flow control packets to |

| the interface is disabled for a connected unit. |

• | Send | Specify whether to allow the interface to send flow control packets |
|
| to a remote unit: |

| • On: The interface sends flow control packets to a remote unit |
|
| that supports flow control. |

| • Off (default): The function for sending flow control packets to a |

| remote unit is disabled for a local port. |
