9.2.5.4IGMP v2 Snooping Report Method

When IGMP report suppression is enabled, the switch forwards only one IGMP report per multicast router query. When report suppression is disabled, all IGMP reports are for- warded to the multicast routers.

report-suppression		interface.

IGMP report suppression is supported only when the multicast query has IGMP v1 and IGMP v2 reports. This feature is not supported when the query includes IGMP v3 reports.

To disable IGMP snooping report suppression, use the following command.

9.2.5.5Mrouter Port

Configuring Mrouter Port per VLAN

You can designate, to which port, the multicast router is connected. If you designate mul- ticast router is connected to where, it is possible to transmit multicast packet or message only to that port.

To designate the port connected to multicast router, use the following command.
