	To configure an authentication key which is based on MD5 encoding, use the following
	command.
	Command	Mode	Description
	ip ospf message-digest-key <1-
	255> md5 KEY [active]
	ip ospf message-digest-key <1-
	255> md5 [active]		Configures the authentication which is based on md5
	ip ospf A.B.C.D message-digest-	Interface	type.
	key <1-255>md5 [active]		1-255: key ID
			KEY: maximum 16 alphanumeric characters
	ip ospf A.B.C.D message-digest-
	key <1-255>md5 LINE [active]
	ip ospf A.B.C.D message-digest-
	key <1-255>md5 KEY [active]

To delete a configured authentication key, use the following command.

Command Mode Description

no ip ospf authentication-key

KEY

no ip ospf authentication-key KEY {first second}

no ip ospf A.B.C.D authentica- tion-key KEY

Interface Deletes a configured authentication key.

no ip ospf A.B.C.D authentica- tion-key KEY {first second}

no ip ospf message-digest-key

10.2.4.3Interface Cost

OSPF protocol assigns suitable cost according to the bandwidth on the each interface to find the shortest route. Cost is used for packet routing, and routers are using the Cost to communicate.

To configure an interface cost for OSPF, use the following command.
