	Upon receipt of your equipment, follow the procedures in the order listed below:

The M2488 tape drive may have a medium changer and be rack-mounted or placed on a desktop. Deter- mine which configuration is to be used from the following tables, then refer to the indicated assembly instructions after unpacking and inspecting the equipment.
