Monitoring Frame Relay Interfaces

List

Use the list command to display statistics speci®c to the data-link layer and the

Frame Relay interface.

Syntax:

virtual-circuits

all

Displays circuit, management, and VC statistics on the Frame Relay

interface. The output displayed for this command is a combination of the

list lmi and list permanent-virtual-circuit commands.

circuit name or number

Displays detailed virtual circuit con®guration and statistical information for

the speci®ed VC using the input circuit name or DLCI.

Example:

list circuit 347

Circuit state

Indicates the state of the circuit: inactive, active, or congested.

Inactive indicates that the circuit is not available for traffic because

either the Frame Relay interface is down or the Frame Relay

management entity has not noti®ed the Frame Relay protocol that

the circuit is active. Active indicates that data is being transferred.

Congested indicates that data ¯ow is being controlled.

Circuit is orphan

Indicates if the circuit is a non-con®gured PVC learned through LMI

management or a callin-in for a non-con®gured SVC.
