Bad address

Indicates the total number of bad addresses encountered over the point-to-point link. ªBad addressesº refers to the HDLC framing byte at the start of the packet.

Bad control

Indicates the total number of bad control packets encountered over the point-to-point link. ªBad controlº refers to the 0x03 pre®x on HDLC encapsulated PPP packets (ªUIº value that follows the 0xFF).

Unknown protocol

Indicates the total number of unknown protocol packets encountered by the current link.

Invalid protocol

Indicates the total number of invalid protocol packets encountered by the current link.

Con®g timeouts

Indicates the total number of con®guration timeouts experienced by the link.

Terminate timeouts

Indicates the total number of link termination timeouts experienced by the link.
