ELS Con®guration Commands (Talk 6)

If you specify net#_start and net#_end as the same number, you are ®ltering on a single net number.

The command create remote range ipx 19 22 3 6 ®lters all ipx messages beginning with IPX.019 and ending with IPX.022 for net numbers 3 through 6 for remote logging.

subsystem subsystem_name net#_start net#_end

Speci®es the subsystem and net numbers that you are ®ltering.

If you specify net#_start and net#_end as the same number, you are ®ltering on a single net number.

The command create display subsys ip 1 1, ®lters all ELS messages for the ip subsystem that contain net number 1 to the display. All other ip subsystem messages are discarded.

Delete

Use the delete command to delete a speci®c ELS ®lter or all ELS ®lters.

Syntax:

 

delete

all

 

filter ®lter#

all Deletes all currently con®gured ®lters.

®lter ®lter#

Deletes the ®lter speci®ed by®lter#. Use the list command to obtain the number for the ®lter you want to delete.

Disable

Use the disable command to disable a speci®c ELS ®lter or all ELS ®lters.

Syntax:

 

disable

all

Enable
