Quality of Service Parameters

Quality of Service (QoS) can be set for H.323 participants.

The purpose of QoS is to prioritize IP packet transport from the MCU to the endpoint.

QoS does not provide better quality for specific participants; rather it provides a method for network devices to separate participants by quality class. Different quality classes are given different priorities. Improved transport quality is given to participants with a higher QoS level.

To define the QoS:

1.Click the Quality of Service button in the Participant Properties - Advanced window.
