Chapter 29: Tools and Applications

Read Config

Read Config (or Configuration Reader) is a tool that creates a subdirectory in \altiserv\EXE\AltiWareHtml\ of HTML files showing details of your AltiWare configuration.

To use Configuration Reader

1.Launch Configuration Reader from Start > All Programs > AltiWare ACC/ACM> Utilities > Read Config.

Open previous

ReadOE file

Create new

ReadOE file

Output all configuration to this folder

Output configuration to altigen_rc.dat

Click View to see your latest HTML file

2.Make selections in the dialog box. If you will be sending a configuration file to AltiGen Technical Support, check ReadOE Data File, and select a folder for the .dat file.

3.Click Go.

A processing bar indicates the progress of configuration reading.

4.When the status window is complete, you can click the View button to view the HTML files showing your configuration.

Columns across the top of the opening page let you view statistics on different components of your configuration.
