Network Ports

If AltiWare ACM 5.1 is behind a firewall/NAT router, you need to open TCP and UDP ports according to the following table:

Note: An easy way to find out the RTP/TCP port range(s) for SIP and H.323 is to look in AltiWare Administrator View > Current Resource Statistics. All the ports are listed in the Local Ports column.

Alternatively, you can figure the port range in the following way: For a single chassis system:

X = 49152

Y = 49152 + Total IP codec channels x 2

For a multi-chassis system, you need to enter multiple ranges:

Gateway ID = 0

X0 = 49152

Y0 = 49152 + Total IP codec channels in GW0 x 2

Gateway ID = 1

X1 = 49152 + 512 x 1
