Verifying the configuration

Check the reception of multicast stream for multicast group 224.1.1.1 on Host A, and take the following steps to verify the configurations made on the switches.

1View the information on Switch B

# View the IGMP packet statistics on Switch B.

<SwitchB> display igmp-snooping statistics Received IGMP general query packet(s) number:16. Received IGMP specific query packet(s) number:3. Received IGMP V1 report packet(s) number:0. Received IGMP V2 report packet(s) number:53. Received IGMP leave packet(s) number:1.

Switch B has received IGMP general queries from the querier and IGMP reports from receivers.
