Note The end codes are described in the following table.

End code Name Meaning
00Normal end The command frame was processed normally without any
of the following errors.
0FCommand error The specified command could not be executed. Refer to
the response code for more information.
10Parity error A parity error was detected for one of the characters that
was received.
11Framing error A framing error was detected for one of the characters
that was received.
12Overrun error A overrun error was detected for one of the characters
that was received.
13BCC error The BCC for the receive frame was incorrect.
14Format error An illegal command or illegal character was received in
the command and text (characters other than ASCII 0 to 9
or A to F).
16Subaddress error The receive frame contained an illegal subaddress.
18Frame length error The receive frame was too long.
