Add Code Calling Access
The tones for the Code Calling feature are generated by the TN756, TN768,
TN780, TN2182, or TN419B Tone-Cloc k c ircuit packs in the p ort networks.
Install a TN763 (or a non-United States TN417) Auxiliary Trunk circuit pac k or a
TN457 Speech Synthesizer circuit pack and connect for Loud speaker Paging.
The Code Calling Acc ess feature shares the same ports as Loudsp eaker Paging.
An Auxiliary Trunk circuit pack provides 4 po rts for Loudspeaker Paging and
Code Calling Acce ss.

Add Speech Synthesis
The TN725B Speech Synthesizer circuit p ack is required w hen the Voice
Message Retrieval, Automatic Wakeup, or Do Not Disturb features are activated.
The TN725B circuit pack does not req uire administration.
1. Deter mi ne the p ort assignment of the Speech Synthesizer circ uit pack to
be added.
2. Install the TN725B Speech Synthesizer c irc uit pack in the desig nated
carrier slot.
Add Pooled Modem
Modem Pooling supp or ts 2 kinds of conversion resources: “in teg rated” and
“combined .” The integrated typ e req uires a TN758 Pooled Modem circuit pa ck
for each 2 conversion resourc es provided.
The combined typ e requires a port of a TN754, TN413, or TN2136 Digital Line
circuit pac k and a port of either an 8-port TN742, TN769, or TN467 or a 16-port
TN746B, TN468B, TN2135, TN2144, or TN2149 Analog Line circuit pack for e ach
conversion resource p rovided.
1. Deter mine the p ort assignment of the circ uit p ack to be add ed (if
required ).
2. Install the ap p ropriate circuit p ack in assigned c arrier slot (if required).
3. Ad minister the forms listed under “M od em Pooling” in
