Save Translations
1. If the system is high or c ritical reliability, enter status system 1 and press
Enter to verify that the system is in the “active/stand by” mod e.
2. Enter save translation and press Enter . This instructs the system to take all
translation information in memory and write it to the translation card or
tape.
3. If the system c ontains a TN750 Announcement circu it pack, enter display
announcements and press Enter .
If administered recorded announcements are listed, enter list
configuration software-version and press En ter. Chec k Page 2 of this
form to see when the announcements were last saved. To save the
announcements, enter save announcements and press Enter.
Power Down System
If the packet bus is b ei ng added :
1. At the PPN, set the main circuit breaker to OFF.
2. At eac h EPN, set the main circuit breaker to OFF.
Add Circuit Packs
1. Deter mi ne p ort assignment of circ uit packs to be ad ded.
2. Install the ap propriate circ uit pack in assigned cabinet slot (as requ ired ).
For example:
The TN748C or TN744 Call Classifier circuit pack is required. The TN744 is
required for those customers who desire switc h call classification.
A vacant port is required on a TN556 ISDN—BRI circuit p ack.
3. A Packet Bus is req uired with CallVisor ASAI. If the system is not equipped
with a Packet Bus, see “Add Packet Bus to R6si” earlier in this chap ter.
