Chapter 2 Avaya P330-ML Layer 2 CLI Commands

show device-mode

User level: user, privileged, supervisor

Use the show device-modecommand to show the current P330-ML-ML or P333R operating mode. Possible modes are Router, or Layer 2.

This command is not available to the P333T, P334T, P332MF and P333T-PWR switches which do not have Router and to P333R-LB which is always in Load-Balancing mode.

The syntax for this command is:

show device-mode

Example:

P330-N>show device mode

Device mode is router

show dot1x

User level: user, privileged, supervisor

Use the show dot1x command to display the system dot1x capabilities, protocol version, and timer values.

The syntax for this command is: show dot1x

Example:

P330-N>show dot1x mode

***Warning : Authentication server ( RADIUS ) is disabled/not-exist and so,

***no authentication can be made

show download status

User level: user, privileged, supervisor

This command applies the P330-ML-ML switches only.

Use the show download status command to display a summary of the last software download operation.
