copy running-config startup-config

User level: privileged, supervisor.

Use the copy running-configstartup-configcommand to save the policy and router configurations to the startup configuration file in the NVRAM.

The syntax for this command is:

copy running-config startup-config

Example:

Router-N(super)#copy running-config startup-config

copy running-config tftp

User level: privileged, supervisor.

Use the copy running-config tftp command to upload the active policy and router configurations to a TFTP server.

The syntax for this command is:

copy running-config tftp <filename> <ip>

filename	Destination file name in the tftp server (full path).
ip	The ip address of the tftp server.
