
Chapter 2 Avaya P330-ML  Layer 2 CLI Commands
The syntax for this command is:
set port channel [<port_list>] [<value>] [<name>]
| port_list | A list of ports to be aggregated in the format module/port | 
| value | on or off – enables or disables the channel for the specified | 
| 
 | module ports | 
| name | Channel name | 
If you wish to define a name which includes spaces, you must enclose the entire name in quotation marks, for example “new york”.
Example:
P330-N# set port channel 1/5-6,8  on my-channel 
Port 1/5 channel mode set to on 1/102
Port 1/6 was added to channel 1/102
Port 1/8 was added to channel 1/102
set port classification
User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the set port classification command to set the port classification to either regular or valuable. Any change in the Spanning Tree state from Forwarding for a valuable port will erase all learnt MAC addresses in the stack.
The syntax for this command is:
set port classification [module/port] {regularvaluable}
| module port | module/port range | 
| regular valuable | port classification | 
| Example: |

P330-N# set port classification 2/19 valuable
Port 2/19 classification has been changed.
set port disable
User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the set port disable command to disable a port or range of ports.
